Tiling corner recess for shower - Skirting Board ?

Hi there
I am about to start tiling the corner recess down to the shower tray(tiling over upstands). The tiles will be a good 50 -75 cm outside the tray, and I am wondering if I should tile all the way down to the floor, and cut out a piece of the skirting board on the wall to this, or stick with just tiling to the skirting board . The other wall of the corner has no skirting board on it at present as it had to be removed . Any ideas on which would look the better finish ? ( I am erring towards tiling to the floor)
Many thanks in anticipation
Caroline

try dry laying the tile(so to speak)..i.e cut tile to floor level sit in place and see how it looks to the eye..(or her indoors.)..then gauge from there how it will look with the rest of the room.

it may be easier to till to floor and if swmbo doesnt like it then skirting it is then.. :thumbleft:
