Saw that won't cut fingers!

This circular saw won't cut fingers, or any other bits of flesh.

Looks good, but if its that good why didnt he ram his fingers in it. :lol:

dont realy see the point !!!!


well i do see the point but if someone cant be botherd to follow safety precautions are they going to spend the extra money

and the basic safety precautions are
riving knife fitted gaurd fitted max 4mm clearence over blade and workpeice
blade set 2mm more than thickness of material
push sticks used as soon as material crosses the edge of the table
we are all ------------------still learning

i have seen it before very impressive only one slight flaw, the system uses explosives to trigger the removal of the blade so is a once only system, but better than chopping your hand off.

I would agree with all of big all points, the only problem is that with a riving knife in place you cant rebate so you invariably remove them
