hi can anyone recommend a product i could try to remove surface scratches from my glasses lenses. I have bought some new ones as the old ones were scratched but would like to try and save them for work use and keep my new ones for going out in . Any help appreciated. Nick

You can polish out the scratches but it will probably ruin the glasses. When you polish them you replace the large scratch with many smaller ones and so the scratch will go eventually, but you might end up with a shiny patch on the lens or a dull patch.

Cerium oxide can be used on glass or metal polish can be used on plastic.

Braso, seriously.

If they're knacked already, get some brasso, circular motions only, small tight circles within the glass, quickly and lightly until you see if you're getting a result.

Once you see what's going on vary the pressure.

Cheers will give it a go, the lenses are acrylic definiteley so hopefully wil at least let me see through them as opposed to looking through a haze of scratches.
