Unusual jobs

Post by Gadget »

Being an all rounder, I am asked to do all kinds of different jobs, but 2 spring to mind, both of them related to sport.
When Sunderland FC moved from Roker Park to their new stadium, the club sold off the old seats to local small time clubs. I live right next to my local team's ground, and they asked me to instal the 300 seats they had bought.
Another unusual job I was asked to do was to make and set in, a flag pole base at a bowling club.
Anyone else been asked to do unusual jobs??

I think the strangest job i did weld a toyota liteace van to the back of a lorry tractor unit.

Both were going to spain for salvage, if they are permanently fixed you only pay one ferry charge!!

The only thing i can think of was to build a cabin on a coble(fishing boat)-bit of a poser regarding levels and straight lines plus it was still floating, then about 6 years later the same bloke bumped into me and asked me to do another one for his mate, this one was dry docked though. Still it was an enjoyable job in both instances.
