installed a shower tray, now going to tile it and the rest of the wall, do I start from the tile tray and then work up and across the rest of the wall, or would I do a straight line above so doing the whole wall and then come down to the top of the tray?

Re: tiling shower tray and rest of wall
work out your cuts to the top of the ceiling, if by using a full tile from the tray ( assuming it is just a shower cubicle?) the cuts are too small ie: less than 1/3 of the size you are using, then set out to a decent cut at the top and batten where the first course will start, tile, then when gone off, remove batten and put bottom cuts in ( if tanked then use Rubi stands or similiar to hold level to tile off ) hope thats clearer than mud on a cloudy day, with cracked specs, no honestly, that's the way
