How to clean grouting?

Hi all,
Help needed please.I have spilt bacon fat on my new tiled kitchen floor.The bacon fat has gone into the grouting and i cannot clean it.Any ideas of how to remove the bacon fat stain from the grouting please.It looks so unsightly.

Hi Michael,

welcome to the forum.

This could be a real problem to remove!

If I was you I would try mixing some bicarbonate of soda with some warm/hot water and pour it on and then wipe it with a clean cloth. Failing that you could try a steam cleaning machine- one of the small hand held ones!

I shall try both and will let you know the outcome.Thanks again.It really has made a mess on my grouting :cb

Great news here.The stain has been removed by using the small steam cleaner that we have.Would never have thought of using it.

Again many many thanks for your help and advice.The drinks are on me :occasion5:
