How long do i leave fresh plaster before tiling on to it?
Had to replaster a section of my new shower cubicle (solid block wall). Did this on Monday morning. Just wondering how long to leave it before priming with acrylic then tiling using BAL cf3 adhesive. Plaster hasn't quite dried yet, it looks like 75% of the surface area is dry. Thanks

Re: How long do i leave fresh plaster before tiling on to it
The answer is it takes as long as it takes. have a check tomorrow.
I don't use Bal adhesives but if the CF3 is a tubbed adhesive then check instructions before priming. I doubt it will need to be pre primed before tiling.
Marc1106 is a Bal user, so will advise on the primer if he sees the post.

Re: How long do i leave fresh plaster before tiling on to it
plaster all needs to be pink( completly dry) before priming and if using APD then its a 50:50 primer/water mix, wait for it to dry then prime again, never try to tile onto damp primer. (dont ask me why but the tech guys at Bal say its a NO NO)
IF IT WERE EASY ITD B BORING!
