a diamond blade tile saw water cooled is best. or an angle grinder with a diamond blade

If it isnt broke dont bloody touch it until it bloody well is and if it is broke then make drawing of the connections before you remove the broken one and replace with a new one LoL

What about a hand held circular saw with a mason blade?

Helpful advice as ever yourweb, we do not use circular saws for cutting masonry here in UK, we use angle grinders , with diamond blades and also dedicated tile cutters

It is not so much as advice as a suggestion. I have seen some use a circular saw but mostly the table saws that use water. I have also seen some use a pair of pilers for detail work and a hammer and chisel for detail work also.

All tools mentioned in this thread have been used. As the years go by you see newer methods and better tools being used.
