denzo tape

Hi, this might no be the best forum for my question so feel free to move!
I have some copper water pipe covered by rendering, they are wrapped in denzo tape covered with duck tape but some of the (greasy?) stuff is leaching in a couple of spots. My question is what should I do prior to tiling to prevent this from staining the grout in the long run please?
Cheers, Pierre

dont thick the carp will be coming from the denso tape mate...probally the duct tape...
if you want you could use a waterproof membrane around this area..dura wp/ditra/homelux etc..there is also the paint on gear from bal..etc..not a great lover of the paint on myself mate..

Iv'e never had problems with denso, and by the way it doesn't need gaffer tape over it.

Most unlikely to be the Denso tape, you don't need anything with it either.
I would look for other problems.
What pipes are they and how are they wrapped.

Most people put the blade in a junior hacksaw in the wrong way.
The teeth should be facing the hand so you cut on the pull stroke, that way the frame tightens the blade as you cut.
