What is the correct way to tile a kitchen?
Do I tile the whole floor and place cabinets on top of the tiles?
Or fit the cabinets to the concrete floor and tile up to the edges of them?

2 answer really
if you expect the tiles to outlast the kitchen then floor all the area
iff you expect the the units outlast the floor then you tile what you can see
with the edge covered by plinths
then you either tile under the appliances or stop a few inches inside and build up the floor with ply to give you a platform at least 1mm higher than the tiles so you damage the ply and not the tiles when sliding the white goods in and out
