Hello,
Im looking at tileing over my concrete slap patio but I dont have much gap to do so 2 inch, does anyone know if this is possible ..?

1st..substrate...for tiling(not slabs)..
in the photos looks like you have cracking in it and its a big area...
so the cracking is movement so this will transfer up through to your tiles...
the size off area.. it looks large,when tiling you will need an exspansion gap incorperated into the subfloor every 4m..and tranfer up through the tiles,which you aint got mate so for tiles its a no go imo...
plus the gap you have to work with 2"-3"...
also the gradient you have to, and are the door opening outwards..?
any way imo... lift the lot and look into decking or slabs min 30mm thick...
for tiles you will be looking at a grade 5 tile for outdoors,but it will need to be thick,... to withstand the elements and weather etc...
