Some PowerCraft tools from Aldi. May be useful for those 1 off jobs.

Good Link :thumbright:

Very cheap mitre saw!

Oh, and does the German Salami come with english instructions?
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

dont think you can go far wrong with cheap tools from aldi/lidls

if you thrash them and they break you get your money back
if they keep going you have a cheap reliable tool :thumbright:

I couldn't really give those away for prizes as the likelyhood of them breaking is high and posting something like the router would probably be £10 ish.

Next month is the sites third birthday and so I will find a few extrs prizes for a one off competition

I have a Parkside orbital sander from lidl. Its still going, seems to be of good build quality!

My parents have put the same sander through hell after their black and decker one died after a few jobs and its still going!

I keep looking out for more tools whenever I go there, they are always handy for those dirty jobs....

UHM,
Is it any good?
I bought hubby a mitre saw from there and there's nothing wrong with it.
Lidl is good too.
Aldi's Moser Roth chocolate is heavenly and cheap, a great addition to any tool bag!
