vinyl flooring over ceramic tiles help

Hi, I have grey slightly riven ceramic tiles in my home. I really don't like them, as I'm doing the bathroom up I was thinking of laying some 4mm vinyl down, with a pvc backing on the vinyl. The vinyl seems quite thick can I lay this directly over the top, I don't want the grout lines to show through. Can I do this, all the tiles are perfectly stuck down. What do you all think, I am trying to do this in the most cost effective way but stll want it to look good. Thanks in advance

If you can't/won't take up tiles, then as long as they are securely fixed................Latex self level........then tile
