Replacing 2 gang 2 way switch for an MK 3 gang switch

Post by kazman64 »

Can anyone help

I want to have the existing 2 way lighting as before but have wall lights powered from third switch.

After my efforts - 2 way lights work, the third gang lights work but go off when main light is switched on

What have I done wrong !! ::b

I don't think there is enough information there to be honest.

Perhaps it will help if you post a diagram?

How have you wired your new wall lights ,Directly to the switch or via a junction box. Please provide us with more information and we will be able to assist you further.

Nick
If it isnt broke dont bloody touch it until it bloody well is and if it is broke then make drawing of the connections before you remove the broken one and replace with a new one LoL
