hi hoping someone can give me some advice, i started tiling our toilet room and ran in to problems tiled 1 wall then moved on to the window wall but because the wall is out of level in the corner the tiles would have gone in more, so now i have removed all tiles, i would like to try again this is my first tile job and feel that i can do it, what i would like to know is did i start in the wrong place should i start on the window wall, also the tiles i used were 15x15 and was now going to try a different size tile and do a brick effect if i used brick effect would i notice the wall was out as much as i did with the 15x15 also is brick effect hard to do, please someone help out

Doesn't make any difference what size tiles you use or whether you incorporate a broken bond pattern.
It is all in the setting out and you can only set out after surveying to ensure tiles will look correct.

How long is a piece of string........................depends on where the opening sits in the wall in relation to both internal corners, how this then transfers tiles onto adjoining walls and in turn follows on to other internal corners.
Not something anyone can tell you unless they see the job.
