JTF Warehouses can be found at 11 locations throughout the country:
Mansfield, Hucknall, Sheffield, Lincoln, Stoke, Newcastle, Warrington, Preston, Leeds, Peterboro, Tamworth.

They are free to join wholesale warehouses that are open to the public for membership. No business cards needed just a driving licence with you address and you get a card and shop straight away. If you live near one of the locations above, get along and register. They do DIY, gardening, furniture, electrical, food and all sorts of stuff at trade prices.
Just remember that all prices on display (except food) are PLUS VAT at 20%.

Just a couple of examples:

Ryobi CB18CL One + Cordless Car Charger 18 Volt . ~ ~ ~ £9.99 + VAT = £11.99 (£30+ on Amazon) Must be a star buy for workers on the road a lot.

Ryobi 3 Speed Drill Driver with 2 x 14.4volt batteries ~ ~ ~ £49.99 + VAT = £50.99 (£73+ on Amazon)

Ryobi Collated Drywall 2" Screwdriver ~ ~ ~ £40 + VAT = £48.00 (RRP £184+)

The web site is not a catalogue of individual, items but once registered, you get a regular flier about individual items on sale.

This month there the list includes:
130 amp Tig welder with accessories £79.99
100 amp Mig welder with accessories £49.99
12v Panasonic Drill with 2x 3.5Ah ni-mh batteries £69.99
Air compressor £59.99

I have been to the JTF several times in Preston and many of their tools are very cheap, but normally they are cheap makes.

I have never seen Ryobi for sale there in the past, but I'll definately check it out when I have time :thumbright:

Thanks for the info :thumbleft:

I'll be paying them a visit as soon as I get chance :thumbleft:

The last time I went there I bought a set of the JML screw extractors and when I got home I realised that there was one missing from the packet ::b

The only problem is that they might have all the Haloween stuff in, so I might have to sneak there without the other half or she'll be buying all sorts of rubbish

Just roll up Nick, all the banners say open to the public to register.

Wife went with her niece last week and forgot my card so she made herself a member as did the niece, sister-in-law and our daughter. Just need a driving licence or something with your address on it.

These invites come with the flyer.

I have just done a 'big' shop for Chez, for some prizes at a Gala, and there was plenty of stuff left.
Guy looked at me funny when I chucked 10 Fatmax tapes into the trolley, but they are the genuine dogs danglies.

Just be aware that they display all of their prices ex-VAT, and that the shelf edge labels don't say that. In fact, there's nothing anywhere visible to indicate that you'll be paying 20% more that the marked price. And they even put the RRP (which includes VAT) on some things to show how much you're "saving".

They're still cheap, but not quite as cheap as they first appear.

I am a bit suspicious of this post?
If there is any truth in it, how come I can't find a branch in London?

Prob struggling to find one in london BECAUSE THERE IS NOT ONE !!! They are solely a northern company and so from their website you will see all their branch locations. I have been there and their is nothing to be suspicious of. They prob cannot afford the price of a unit in london as you would prob only get a postage stamp sized plot of land for a huge cost.

Why be suspicious of a post from a regular:

As Sparky says they only have a few warehouses and don't do any interwebby trading.
They trade in the north, as my first post informed you:
