how can inteligent free thinking people think otherwise??
a person is bad because they are bad and for no other reason
how can anybody tar a whole group off people by the actions off a few its both stupid and fairly childish
you get good an bad in any group your experiances with any group will usually be with a small fraction off 1% or at best a small percentage so how can you form an opinion off a whole culture/group/ society /race/ religion/on such a small sample

remember the vast majority are quiet so don't get noticed so how can you form an opinion on vast majority when you know nothing about them

The Catholics turned a blind eye and then covered up for their paedophille priests, and have rightly been castigated as a whole for it.

Various Asian communities around the UK have actively covered up for a few of their young men who like grooming young girls (and, sometimes, boys).

Families who seek to protect their chav kids from the consequences of their anti-social behaviour just get dumped in the "scum families" category in most people's minds.

Yes, every grouping has its bad apples. It's how the group deals with them, and whether or not they put their own interests above those of the bad apples victims, which defines the group as a whole.

I think tolerance has been betrayed. Stereotypes are based on evidence based actions and behaviours. It was therefore no surprise to many to see that a very high percentage of the perps were from certain ethnic backgrounds and underclass with some idiots sucked in who should have known better. During the Bliar years we had a Police force that has had its hands tied, a judiciary packed with hand wringing libs and an apathetic public who have given up on seeing wrongs put right.

What is needed is a bloody firm hand over a few years to sort out all the criminal classes. It is a shame we cannot transport them to colonies any more to rid the country of them. As was said in the wonderful film Breaker Morant 'we used Rule .303' and that is exactly what is needed now.
