Does anyone know how to turn a photo into an Andy warhol style image? I've tried adjusting hue and brightness but it's not quite right.

Look for the 'solarise' function.
It available in 'Photoshop' & 'Paint Shop Pro'.
You won't have it in the basic image programs that come with windows.

Thanks for that. :thumbright: I've got a photo studio 5.5 but can't see anything on that. I'm sure we've got another programme somewhere that does fancy effects.

Hey Bigbird - did you find the option?

I have been meaning to play around with doing this, but I only use Paint

But ..... this is what I got

My initial pic (It's binky from the Dodge Caliber ad :-) )

Think he just wet his pants  (have to remember the ad to get the line  )

Try using Paint - it's free :thumbright:

Hoovie,

That's cute. :thumbright: My kids love that character. He wets his pants as you said.
I'll try 'paint'.

I'll have a look on download.com to see if there's a 'solarising' programme on there.

I want to print some t- shirts with Warhol style pictures.

I sort of streched the truth ....

I DID use Paint, but not the paint that comes with Windows

Download Paint.net - it is a totally free program and I used it to do that pic, following the instructions here
How to create an Andy Warhol 'style' Pop Art poster

Have Fun :thumbright:

Oh - and if you buy from Amazon, you may have got a flyer about free printing on T-Shirts? I think you get one free, but it is one more then none free!

and BTW - if you are printing, watch out when using Green and Yellow adjacently - they tend to bleed and it gets messy

I tried it but wasn't thrilled by the results. I'll have to have another go in the school holidays when I've got more time.
