I'm currently planning mums kitchen.
The kitchen is a U shape but one part of the U sticks out into the middle of the room(not against a wall).
The hob is on this this section of kitchen so it will need an island extractor.
The problem I have is knowing *exactly* where to situate the extractor. Currently the room is back to brick and has no plasterboard on the ceilings. The position of the extractor needs to be determined before the room gets plastered.
As I don't know the exact depth of the plaster and the exact size of any corner base cabinet fill pieces etc etc I'm worried about getting the extractor in the wrong position. Any advice?
Need help with island extractor positioning.

Re: Need help with island extractor positioning.
If you are ducting it then leave the duct in the ceiling roughly in position and then cut hole and fish out once the base units are in and you have the exact extractor position.
You can get the corner positions from the supplier.
