Meh.....
Worst day I've had in years....(work wise). Got myself some room service on the way and a couple of beers.....if I have to go out and someone upsets me, might end up in prison.
On the brightside, my hotel is next to the EU commison place, so someone from the UK could bail me out......
How's your lots day?

Re: Meh.....
Fcukin fed up with all this fekking rain.... I can't remember two consecutive dry days here for months. If the weather keeps this up and we get a cold winter I reckon we'll be covered up over the roofline......
Don't take it personally......

Re: Meh.....
Ooooh been doing an en suite refit after a long term leak. Time is ticking on and have another job to start Monday.
Plumber has held me up due to going to other jobs instead of spending 12 hours on mine. So only 3 days worth of delay due to that. Not that I mind as I invoice the contractor for being there. Not my fault there plumber is delaying me.
Plumber finished this morning. Opened a box of wall tiles after setting out. 298mmX600mm porcelain, from Topps.
Tile had a dark blemish so I opened 3 boxes which amounted to 18 tiles and 16 of them had blemishes due to factory negligence.
Go to Topps to show them. He phones a broad selection of the stores in London and they all have the same batch and all the same marks. Except 1 shop which didn't have any of the batch as they had sent them back. Topps head office haven't bothered to let the shops know and put a recall on them pmsl.
Job delayed as they will not have a new batch until 17/10.
Oh well....20 boxes into the house....20 boxes to come out.........20 boxes to go in lol.

Light fitting blew in the bedroom (Proper bang)... in the dark obviously, otherwise I wouldn't have been switching the fecker on...mind you..prolly a 30 year old fitting...bulb had welded itself into the holder...
a hour later we have a new ceiling rose... then find that that instead of twin and earth there's a bit of flex to the lighting......
..must get a "Handyman" in...

Re: Meh.....
I can forgive the day after this. Staying in a hote that doesn't microwave it's food has it's perks!! Meal cooked fresh and brought to my room by a lovely lass. Desert was the icing on the cake(s):
<< Creme Brulee
They are: Figs, Chesnut and red fruits! Pukka!
Shower and bed for me gents, it's been a pleasure!
