Bosch sheet metal holesaws

These Bosch holesaws are a great price at the moment at just £20 for the set (normally £60 per set)

would these cut ok in timber? or in kitchen units etc (passing 240v plugs etc or pipe work through?)

They are not brilliant on timber to be honest, but they should cut it slowly.
These would be much better for wood-

Yes they do.
I was going to recommend the ones on kitchenfitters tools, but I can only see mitre fix glue on there at the minute.

The problem with cutting timber slowly is overheating the cutting edge they would go dull very quickly - a bit like this answer

I don't think so, the only thing on the site is mitre fix.
Shaun still supplies the drills for the monthly competition, he posts them out when he gets chance
