Windows Mail

Post by mhow »

Recently I received two e-mails with attachments, one from my son and one from Garmin, that Windows Mail refused to open.Thinking it was my security I removed them all but without success and then it dawned on me that it was Windows Live Mail security that was blocking the download.Looked all over to find how to allow these attachments through but without success. Can someone point me in the right direction please.

Are they in your inbox?

I'm wondering if the problem is you can't download them or you can't open them?

What attachment type and what is the exact error?

Think you are clicking in the wrong place and for your information, I've not been rude in at LEAST 10 minutes.

mhow,

Don't open it if you get it sent as an attachment to an email, it was a seriously bad virus a year or two ago. :-) :-)

Thanks for the tip but I would only remove mail protection for something from someone I know and trust.

It was a joke and I admit I've got a poor sense of humour.

The virus was that which promised nude pictures of the famous grunting tennis babe, but was actually spread through people you knew and their address book..

Just just a joke, carry on....nothing to see here.
