Hurry up!!
is it with bloody teenagers needing to take showers for 45 minutes twice a day?? Am I being unreasonable by limiting my 17 year old to 15 minutes tops?
Or should I just turn the hot water off if he doesn't come out I wonder...............
Please tell me they're not all this way.

Re: Hurry up!!
dont you remember when you were that age?!?
hair had to be perfectly placed, the right shirt with the right jeans/trousers, clean shoes and an unimaginably long time checking for spots or blemishes!
just to get a second glance from the hot girl in the pub.
ahh those were the days...before bills and responsibilities

Re: Hurry up!!
''Dad, there is no hot water!''
''You don't need any to have a wash''.
''Dad can we have the fire on?''
''It doesn't need to go on, it isn't snowing''.
I only had to hear them replies a few times when I was a kid to realise it wasn't worth asking lol.
His other line was.......we didn't have central heating when I was young. I used to take a glass of water to bed with me and when I got up in the morning it would have ice on it.
I don't know about showers, but I have thinned my son out from working with me because he can't stay off his phone during the day.

"Working" with some people at the minute and every 2 minutes they have their bloody phones in their hands. Drives me up the wall!! What are they scared of missing?

Arr the teenage years! Then are they still carrying it into their 20's? And they tell us to 'get a life'
