Does anyone else get the message that Twitter is over capacity?

I had to check something last night and got that message and today I am also getting the message

No I was looking for their twitter page to put it in the post, but as twitter is unavailable to me I had to email ice valve to ask for their twitter url

I very rarely use twitter but do nip on there now and again - mainly for Keith Chegwin's joke (I know very very sad) or if I get an email saying someone is following me. Saying that everytime I log in it comes up with that screen and I hit F5 and it just logs in as normal

Hmmm, Strange!

I tried pressing F5 several times and still got the same message, so I tried firefox and It opens fine

Even weirder, I deleted the browser history and got in using internet explorer.

I then logged in using my username and password and got the over capacity message again.

I'm on Linux so I can only use Firefox might be an IE thing

I too am using Linux,, (Ubuntu 11.04) and am using Google Chrome as my browser. A lot better than FF in my opinion. If your using Ubuntu , you might want to download it from Google Chrome and install it via Synaptic.

Twitter goes over capacity sometimes... it's a problem with their internet servers or something like that. Apparently if you just wait it comes back

Used to happen all the time. I haven't seen the fail whale in over a year, so things have gotten much better, but they still go out from time to time. Usually doesn't last long.
