Wasps

Post by Hoovie »

Why do they not understand they should go away when summer is over?

Just got stung 2 day after clocks went back :cussing:
and it is painful :cb
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Hoovie,

Think VW vinegar wasps and BB Bees bicarbonate, when treating stings! :thumbright:

Hoovie,

Do whatever takes your fancy!! But if I was suffering from a wasp sting I'd rub vinegar on it. :thumbright:

One got into my shorts once and stung me right on the end of my k**b.

I went to A&E and asked them if they could do something about the pain, but leave the swelling.
Nothing you do is a waste of time - especially if it can be used as a bad example by others...

Think yourself lucky Hoovie. If my OH gets stung he swells like a balloon and depending upon where he's stung it could be fatal!

I did think that actually - as while I was making my dinner, I was opening up monkey nuts and thought "Wasp sting and eating Peanuts - god, I know how to live on the edge"

I have to watch for nut allergies when I cook with the kids at school. So many products have tiny amounts of nuts in them.
