Big All - question.... what is a "Laminate Routing"? seen this term on a lot of routers

a laminate trimmer or laminate bit/cutter is a special bit/cutter to flush trim the stick on edging that comes with worktops and simmilar boards

dedicated laminate trimmers are quite small and easy to handle sometimes with the ability to accomodate standard small 1/4" router cutters
the motor size and the base aperture size restricting the cutter head diameter

Indeed - I had a bit of a set to with my estate agent about the use of the word 'Laminate' as they wanted to put "Laminate Flooring' in the particulars
and while the flooring WAS laminated as in 4 ply of proper wood , it was not "laminate flooring" as people typically understand that term.
Think I ended up with just "Wooden Flooring"
