Big All - question.... what is a "Laminate Routing"? seen this term on a lot of routers

a laminate trimmer or laminate bit/cutter is a special bit/cutter to flush trim the stick on edging that comes with worktops and simmilar boards
dedicated laminate trimmers are quite small and easy to handle sometimes with the ability to accomodate standard small 1/4" router cutters
the motor size and the base aperture size restricting the cutter head diameter

When I read 'Laminate', I now automatically think flooring

well as you know laminate just means various layers stuck together and should be accompanied by annother word to save confusion
go into rymans ask for laminate youll get plastic coverd paper
laminate flooring ,laminated worktop, plastic laminates[as in formica ect]ply wood is laminate

Indeed - I had a bit of a set to with my estate agent about the use of the word 'Laminate' as they wanted to put "Laminate Flooring' in the particulars
and while the flooring WAS laminated as in 4 ply of
proper wood , it was not "laminate flooring" as people typically understand that term.
Think I ended up with just "Wooden Flooring"
