Trying to get hold of a Kindle mains charger for Mrs A's Birthday on Wednesday, can't find one for love or money and not a good time to get one online what with all these flippin' Bank Holidays.
The unit consists of a USB cable which connects into a 3 pin plug, I have access to an i-Pad charger which has the same system - Question is would this supply the correct charging capacity as the Kindle one?

I bought one off Amazon, it was 81p. Ordered it 5th December and it has still not arrived yet 
Checked with them and apparently it is shipped from Hong Kong and can take 25 days.
I think I may have lost that one
