You will need to explain in more detail what is and is not working.
The three way valve obviously needs to be moving if the heating is to work.

Need a lot more detail - are you saying you have circulation around the heating system but not the radiators???

the 3 way valve is new, so i assume this is working!!
I have heat to the pipes up stairs and heat now and again to up stairs rads, down stairs pipes are hot but not the rads, I think its the pump, ??? but as i said it was new last year, how long are these to last?
many thanks

Sounds like the pump or air in the pump (does it sound like its gurgling?). What number is the pump set at? If the pump is playing up it also could be a build up of (magnatite) sludge in the system restricting the flow. Any pics may help around pump, mid position valve etc.

How do i get rid of the air in the pump if this is the problem? it is set at 3 most of the time as it is the only setting the heating worked at? what cost is a blow out of the system?
many thanks again

Big silver screw to bleen air from the pump.
£300-£600 to power flush.
