I must admit that the Parkside tools look good in the videos.

I bought the Parkside ash vacuum cleaner for cleaning up the garage and it is ok, but the filter glogs up quickly, But then it is made for ash and not general dust/plaster/saw dust etc.

I'm normally a bit of a snob when it comes to tools but I don't think you can go far wrong with a 3 year warranty.

Does anyone know how the blades are attached in the Parkside jigsaw? I thought about buying one today but I wasn't allowed to open up the box.

My existing one has two allen screws you need to slacken off and it's a pain to be honest.

what to do is buy the jigsaw. Take it home open it up check the specs and jigsaw blade holder. If you are not happy take it back and ask for your money. As long as you don't use it they have to give you a refund.

It says "tool free blade change, with saw lock" in the description, so no screws to tighten untighten. It looks like you twist the shaft just above the blade to release the blades and lock them in. I would like to say i've had a few parkside tools for quite a few years now and they've stood up to alot of abuse by other people, there the only ones i do borrow out if i trust the person which is a rare thing with my gear.

They have one of those electric shiatsu type back massagers for £50 from today (12th January). I tried one of these on a display in a store once and it was great but £120 was too strong a price for me at the time for a gadget. £50 might be worth a punt.
