4 sided diamond stone.

Morning all,
I invested in a 4 Faithfull 4 sided diamond stone yesterday from my local hardware shop,do i have to use any lubricant with it or do i use it dry? the young girl behind the counter didnt really know what i was talking about,and she was in the shop on her own so couldnt ask anyone!

Normally with diamond stones you can just use some water for lubrication :wink:

One small thing is to make sure the stone is dry before storing it away. Know from experience! :cussing:

Christ no!!! The grit'll get all gunked up with water and end up corroding the alloy the diamond grit it mixed with. Decent diamond stones are used dry, and cleaned dry using a special rubber/eraser.

Why not mail the Faithfull customer service team and ask them direct???
