Re-using Tiles

Hi
I'm new to this Forum so thanks in advance for any advice offered!
We have to re-tile out ensuite shower cubicle due to a damp plaster board and we want to re-use the existing tiles.
What is the best way to get the tiles off without damaging them, so that we can re-use them?
Thanks!

The only way is carefully with a hammer and bolster if the board behind is damp they should come off quite easy!

Getting them off is never easy as a bit too much of a lever and the tile will crack. Resolve yourself to the fact that you may have to buy new tiles. If you do save enough then to reuse the tiles you need to soak them in water, at least 24 hours, to soften the adhesive which will scrape off easily then.
Have a look at Aquapanel as a replacement for the tile backing rather than plasterboard.

put tiles in a bucket, fill with boiling water and let the tiles soak for 10 minutes. If it is tubbed adhesive then this will scrape off.
Just be careful taking the tiles off. We do it quite often when tiles have been discontinued.
