Mountfield electric lawn rake/scarifier

B and Q have reduced the price of the Mountfield 600W lawn rake/scarifier from £79 to £39. It's not on their website or advertised. I went to get a different make priced at £59 but stumbled upon the Mountfield offer. I used it today and it's very good.

mountfield are a decent make mate, you wont go far wrong with them

did they have a petrol version per chance?

what are lawn rake/scarifier used for, only thing I can think of by the name is racking but then why would it need to be electric

its for raking out all the dead grass at the bottom of the grass plant ( lawn base) relieving thatch build up which then allows water to penetrate the surface quicker

ah wont need one yet then only had the turf laid at the end of october
