Water damage to patio tiles.

Leaking tap caused this damage over a few months.
Tried a product called Agua Fuerte which is a mild acid cleaner but no luck.
Any ideas apart from re-tiling?
Thanks

Have you tried a pressure washer?
If you got a really high pressure model I think it would blast most of that off.

Tried that along with an acid cleaner.
I think it's limescale, ingrained from a dripping tap over an 8 month period.
I've uploaded some more photos.
Is there a really strong limescale cleaner on the market?
Thanks

Everbuild make a couple of products that might work
CEMSTRIP
407 MORTAR STAIN REMOVER
One of those might do it.

I have just purchased some Cemstrip. Thanks for the suggestion.
If that fails would "sandblasting" the tiles work?
Thanks

I think sand blasting will be too rough and will scratch the surface badly.

Were the terracotta tiles sealed at all? Looks as if they were put down and not sealed.
Lithofin do a good range of products that are made for rescueing(sp?) tiles, you may want to give them a call on 01962 732 126 - they offer full free technical advice.
You may want to e-mail them these pictures as well, as they may be able to help :)
Hope it's helped.
Matt.
