Just roughed out a new Last Will and Testament, sad to say that my life can be disposed of in only 285 words.

A guy I used to work with (whose over 90 now) finished off each day with the words "That's another step nearer the grave then".

I feel a Monty Python song coming on........................

Despite living for so long with Her Ladyship I am still sane, though that blasted labrador is tipping me over the edge.

Mine was recently summed up in two by the missus, the second of which was 'off'.

A couple of weeks ago a mate who lives in London came up to to my area to spend the day clearing out his brother's flat, his elderly and not functioning unable to care for himself brother having been moved into a care home by the local social services.
I collected my mate from the airport and we went to clear out the flat. It was not a happy scene. We went through everything and ended up with four cartons of stuff worth saving which we then took to the care home. The point is, I watched a man's life and possessions reduced to four small cartons. It was a sad day and gave me much to reflect on.

You should still make a will, if only to stop claims by others.

Looking around the house, at things I would miss if I no longer had them, very little it seems.

Lady M moaning about lack of income, but I reckon her blasted labrador has cost around £3,000 so far, and it's only a year old. But she won't tolerate a word said against it. I'd be happier living in a tent, on my own.
