Which varnish/sealer for acrylic eggshell paint?

Not sure if this is the right area but here goes. Ive up-scaled an old wooden coffee table with numerous coats of a decent acrylic eggshell paint and distressed it. I now want to seal/varnish it with a matt coating but unsure what is best to use. I hear some varnishes can go yellow over time? Can someone recommend a product that will protect the exposed areas of wood and the paint with a matt finish. Thanks in advance

Yes wrong forum. Hopfully a mod will move it probably best in decorating?
The acrylic here means sheets of plastic like perspex.
