I'm thinking of getting the topps tiles stardust tiles but im unsure which adhesive to use. I'm planning on getting the 30 x 30 tiles for the floor and walls. What's the correct adhesive to use?

It would be best if the adhesive is from topps. I've used Bal products in the past. Also I guess the grout doesn't have to be anything special.
Cheers
Ant

Hi Ant,
what's the substrate you're tiling on to?
You can use pretty much any flexible adhesive for those tiles, I recommend any of the ardex "X" series adhesives (x7, x7G, x7R, x7001, x77 etc) just make sure to seal the tiles with a natural stone impregnator.
Make sure to use a flexible grout as well, I'd recommend matching with ardex flex FL, go for Dove Grey colour with those tiles.

The topps trade repidset flexible is decent enough but try and grab a tradesman outside who has an account with topps and get him to buy it for you, will save you a fortune!

Quartz/resin...tile.....
I would be looking to use a LATEX based WHITE based cement addy fast setting,.or a ptb(pourable thick bed)adhesive....fast setting adhesive,(less water used when mixing this adhesive)so less chance off your quartz tiles..curling ect...
This tile is a high end tile,so you will need to pay extra for prep and adhesive,if you use a normal flexy adhesive...you might have problems...check with the tile mfr.....DON'T listen to the boys/girls from Topps....min wage an all that with 90% with them...
What is the substrate your fixing them to?

How will that work?
If he can find a trades person, the person will want something for doing it, so unless he can save a fortune, what he saves on cost he will have to give to the person with the account for getting it.
