Good morning everyone, this is my first post and I'm a bit of a DIY newbie.
I have a halogen light fitting in my bathroom and the first one has gone and needs replaced. Unfortunately I can't even get the bulb out the socket!
The picture below shows the fitting, I'm fairly sure that the inner ring needs to come off before I can get the bulb out but it's fixed tight and doesn't move. Does anyone have any bright ideas? (Apologies for the awful gag)

Re: Halogen Light Fitting - Getting access to bulb
Thank you so much, I had to get stuck in with a little bit of brute force.
I can now get to the bulb but can't get it out the fitting!
I hate halogen bulbs and lights.
