Hi

Wanted opinions on the order to fit kitchen units.

Is it base units first and then wall or vice versa???

Thanks :thumbright:

PS any other obvious or otherwise tips on kitchen fitting grestly appreciated.

Hi Mackster
If you have tall oven or fridge/freezer housing units fit these first, they then determine the height of wall unts which are easier to hang on the wall without having to stretch over fitted base units, the wall units fitted come in handy for storing all your bits and pieces (screws, hinges etc)

Right, thanks for that.

As I thought, but always helps when you have your thoughts confirmed.

In addition is there a standard height the wall units should be from the finished floor or worktops.

Cheers

Hi Mackster
Normal worktop height about 900mm dependant on worktop thickness
Would leave approx 450mm from worktop to base of wall unit, but this maybe determined by any tall oven housing etc also i believe extractor unit has to be 750mm above a gas hob
