online or bricks & mortar?

bloody drop-shippers are the worst, the method of selling is fine but so many of them can't report accurate stock levels at all. Just chased one this morning, 2-3 day delivery promised when ordering and the reality is no stock available for 3-4 weeks

Tight margins are the cause - stock costs money and having it on the shelf isn't a 'sale' as far as sellers are concerned. Sad reality of this competitive world.

:dunno: I looked at the thread title and thought...I make my own..

3 chicken carcasses, couple of carrots, onions, any slightly sad looking veg outta the fridge...give it a good old simmer up in about 4/5 litres of water with a few peppercorns..a couple of bay leaves...about 3 hours...leave to cool overnight..

Then sieve..into a pack of ice - cube bags..defrost as you need them...

:dunno: Whaddyou mean this ain't the cookery corner????

The one that gets me is when I call ahead to ask if they have stock, yes sir, just checked he system and we have 3. get there, pay and go round to collect and they cant find the 3. Back to the desk for a refund and they will order some in.

A complete waste of time and energy...

Our internal system doesn't always get updated with broken tiles... and we get a load of 'em :P
