It was Wednesday this morning - clearly the communication of the event was so poor they had to delay it to Saturday
Any old excuse to stop Christmas shopping (not)

It'll take off like a lead baloon.
Now the government will say hardly anyone's bothered about rising fuel prices so we can steam ahead...
Bum protests are worse than doing nothing

And me
I take my hat off to them, at least they are actually doing something and not just moaning.
Pity we/they cant get this fired up against other serious matters, but at least its a start.

Italian truckers are on a 5 day blockade to demonstrate about high fuel prices so we're not the only ones.
I notice a few continental countries are now putting up taxes on fuel as an attempt to curb road useage to try and cut emissions

protest is without doubt this sat assemblys at 9.30 then to your designated refinery for 10.00. The info you got about wed was misin formation from another site. Transaction 2007 are the ones running the protest (its not a blockade) It will be legal and peacefull
and is stage one of a planned course of action. It is not meant to cause disruption to the public and shouldn't as there has been a blackout of sorts re news items about this demo and the ones in italy, france etc. A protest is a protest stoday and to sit back and be shafted over this fuel theft tax and other scheming money grabbing policies of the goverment is far worse than trying to do something about it. It might be the complacent British way,
stuff it, its not mine
It may not make the news but then again its not really meant to. Its a warning to those on high about the high feelings regarding the high petrol prices due to the amount the goverment add in tax. Stage two, if no-one listens, will be after Xmas, for obvious reasons, and its a dandy

Protest on a Saturday?
It's already doomed.
