Help identify this kitchen
I have been very kindly given a second had kitchen from a carpenter friend. The previous owner wnated a new one even though this one looked ok and will do me well.
I would like to know where the units came from and if the doors still exist as I may need to buy one more unit and door. My current kitchen is worn out and poorly laid out so simply replacing doors is not an option.
Near by there is a B&Q, Wickes and now closed Focus. Slightly further away is a HomeBase.
Many thanks for your help

Re: Help identify this kitchen
It looks like a fairly standard "Shaker" style door, most kitchen suppliers will have this style in their range.
One day it will all be firewood.

i fitted that exact one 2 years ago with the exact same handles. the customer had bought it from Magnets.
as above though, it's a fairly standard one that should be available in most of them.

I looked at this and the doors are different. The border on mine are solid where as the Howdens ones are 4 pieces.dewaltdisney wrote:I think that is the Howdens Tewksbury range.

Thats great, thank you. If I wanted to buy another unit would B&Q or Wickes fit or are they slightly different?Rich-Ando wrote:i fitted that exact one 2 years ago with the exact same handles. the customer had bought it from Magnets.

Does magent deal direct with the public and are they a similar price to the other sheds?

Re: Help identify this kitchen
Does it really matter that much? Units are all made to standard sizes these days, so as long as the door on the front matches the rest it matters little what the cabinet beneath looks like - the door and worktop will hide ittimothy.e.doran wrote:If I wanted to buy another unit would B&Q or Wickes fit or are they slightly different?

Wickes units will not fit, they are 735mm high where as 95% of kitchens are 720mm

Doesn't matter at all, I just need reassurance that it won't look wonkey.Job and Knock wrote:Does it really matter that much?
