night time a function room at the local was the venue for the celebrations,

So now your asking why post in the grumpy corner
I arrived at 6.30pm and a few of the grooms mates had already had enough to drink and a heated argument was brewing as we entered the room, around 8.30 another pushing and shoving row,10 pm it was the girls turn,we left at 11pm, i received a text this morning saying 11.20 all out brawl and kicked off ::b ::b

Weddings not a wedding without at least one stooshie - particularly family weddings!

Looks like you escaped while the going was good.

We went to the wife's cousin's wedding a couple of months ago. Although no actual fisty cuffs there was still loads of 'I'm not going if he's going' and 'I'll only sit at this table' from various people. Then all day people were bitching about this and that being wrong. The poor bride and groom spent the day mediating and just looked completely stressed at the end of it.

It was as if everyone was miffed that they weren't the center of attention. Bunch of pathetic scumbags.
When I heard they'd discovered a cure for dyslexia it was like music to my arse!

Update It seems only one family member was actually involved in the arguments the trouble causers were friends
B&G were so upset about the goings on that ruined the night for most of the family they have just announced a post wedding party night in January only selected guests invited this time

lets see what happens eh :boxing: :boxing: :boxing:

we had a total of 12 people at our Civil Partnership- the only family invited out of duty was my mum- most of the rest of them didn't even know. Oh, and no alcohol- I was driving to our honeymoon, and if I couldn't drink, then no-one else was getting pi$$ed at our expense!
