Rectangular floor tile

Post by glogan »

I hope someone can help. I am after a bathroom floor tile which is rectangular and plain white. About two hours trawling through Internet came up empty. Wickes do one 40 x 25 cm at 8.25 mm thick but it states it is a wall tile. Will this be constructed differently to that of a floor tile or could I use them on the floor?

Thanks a lot.

You can't use a wall tile on floors. Some ceramics that are stated for use on walls and floors may still be a poor choice for floors.

The bisque will not be adequate for use on the floor. this will mean it could crack and will not be able to withstand having something dropped on it as well as a floor tile will. www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/quicksearch/

Thank you that's what I thought. I am that desperate to find one. Anyone know where I can find them off hand?

Thanks a lot
