friend of mines parents have composite work tops. theres a small burn mark on one of em. anyone advise how to deal with it? apparently my mates dad has tried all kinds of things he can think of but no luck. (ive not seen this im just going off what ive been told)
ive only ever fitted standard chip board laminate work tops. and once did a kitchen with granite tops so my knowledge on this type is limited. to say the least
i recomended he called a local company that we got the granite tops from to see if they could advise. however they were shut today.
cheers lads.

It can be repaired that is the beauty of them. If it is shallow it can be sanded out, if its deep it can be cut out and filled. How noticeable that repair is will depend on the make and colour of the worktops

Like CR says it can be repaired, but routing it out is a bit more specialised.

i wasnt too impressed by the kitchen to be honest. the doors arent lined up as they really should have been for the price. and apparently soft closers were suposed to be fitted but never were. that was why i was there tonight as i ordered them so called by and fitted em. even the little covers on the hinges wernt put on.
heres one join on the work tops. the other 2 look neat
Photobucket image/link removed. pic attached. Mod 2.

Looks to me like the fitter didn't clean his pencil lines off the Worktops before fitting them, or the glue supplied wasn't the correct one for the tops! Either way it won't be easy to get that out.
Are they a true solid surface or something like Mia or smart stone?
