iCloud Photo Stream

I can't upload my iPhone photos to my iCloud, anyone got any ideas why not?
The photo files are on my laptop, but empty!!

If the file is empty then all you are uploading to icloud is nothing.
Can you send the pictures again to your pc via bluetooth or email?
