Spoof@paypal.com

Post by ultimatehandyman »

I have forwarded tens of spam emails to Spoof@paypal.com over the years but I have now stopped. I often get spoof phishing and scam emails that purport to come from Paypal, I used to forward these emails on in the hope that Paypal would close down the fake website quickly.

Paypal always used to reply and say that it was a fake website ( of course it was, that is why I forwarded the email on so that you could close it down before some numpty gave away their email and password ).

The last few times I have not received a reply from them so it looks like they either don’t care any more or are not replying to the people that help to make the internet safer for others. ::b

I don't like Paypal

My account was put down to limited unless I send in a copy of my passport etc etc. Emailed a few times and just get a generic computer generated response.

One thing I am not doing is sending copies of personal documents over the net.

When I looked on the net about the problem, there were many people who have had accounts limited and can't get it resolved. All the time having thousands of pounds in their account that they are unable to access.
