Yup, familiar territory mate. We're shafted every time. On the basis of road miles they should also be charging people in Somerset, Devon and Cornwall! I'm just 85 miles from Glasgow - if someone was 85 miles away from London would they object to paying 'extra' for delivery? Damned right they would!
Don't take it personally......

I'll top that - Dundee gets overnight delivery from Sfix, Forfar....15 miles up the A90....48 hour delivery.....comes out of the same depot also.

Though couriers are hit and miss, some try it on with extra charges....others don't.
Had one who tried to charge extra, until I pointed out that they don't charge extra for an Aberdeen drop and I'm between them and Aberdeen

But is that not the couriers "fault"
I was always under the impression that no matter where a package is going or from, it has to go to the central depot first, even if that means going past where ever its final destination is.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

Parcelforce though.....same final depot (Perth 15 miles from Dundee) and same service standard for both Dundee and Forfar....so seems odd that Screwfix decide it will take 24 more hours......

The extra £17.50 covers the innoculations for the driver.
