im just about to redo the bathroom and am considering what to do tiling wise. Its a square room and im going to have a shower over the bath so for at least some of the wall ill need to tile to ceiling height. The whole room will be plastered so im thinking i may be able to get away with just tiling the one wall and a little bit of the next round the shower and just paint the rest of the room.
My question is firstly will this look odd if only one wall is tiled? secondly, how bad an idea is it to not have tiles behind the toilet? as it stands im going to fit the bath and sink on the same wall so providing its not essential to have tiles behind the toilet the rest of the room will be fine with just plaster.
If i go for this option what do i do about skirting border etc?
