In Car Cameras

Post by kintangoman »

I'm not sure where to post this, but am hoping this is the right forum?

I'm thinking of having an ''in car video recording camera'' fitted into the dash or screen of my van to guard against dangerous and mad drivers (women especially).
This way, in the event of an accident, I can just forward video to my insurers.

Are these available in the market, or only for use by Police Officers?

Available in many places least of which is your local Maplin store. Perfectly legal and invaluable when sorting out who's to blame!

thanks people.

I had tried to check them on the net, but could only find them being sold in Canada and the US, hence my worry that only the Old Bill is allowed to use in UK?

A company in US wanted $69 for postage and packing

canny, I tried buying that yesterday and was told they only ship within North America for the moment.
Even though I went through all the procedure to make the purchase, I had to ''bail out'' at the final hurdle for fear they may take my money and send an email asking if I couldn't read?
