Have U repurposed/adapted parts into new practical machines?

I'm looking for examples where men have adapted or repurposed parts, component-assemblies, scrap materials, etc into practical (not artistic ) devices, machines, or equipment. I'm thinking of applications relevant to the home, small farm, rural living, garage shops, business, etc. Elsewhere, I've started and participated in some threads that convey the general scope of what I'm interested in:
